REFUND/RETURN POLICY
Survey Reports/Other Publications
There are no refunds or returns permitted.
Courses and Events
REALPAC reserves the right to cancel a course or event offering, at its own discretion. If REALPAC cancels the course or event offering, REALPAC will provide a full refund on the registration fee charged by REALPAC for the course or event. Participant cancellations must be received in writing by REALPAC. The refund structure for any cancellation by a participant is as follows:
- Written notice received 30 days or more prior to the course or event, 75% of the registration fee charged by REALPAC will be refunded to the participant;
- For written notice received 29 days to 8 days prior to the course or event, 50% of the registration fee charged by REALPAC will be refunded to the participant;
- For written notice received 7 days or less prior to the course or event, 25% of the registration fee charged by REALPAC will be refunded to the participant.
Substitute attendees may be permitted at certain REALPAC events or courses, at REALPAC’s sole discretion. If a participant is not able to attend the course or event, the participant shall contact REALPAC with a proposed substitute attendee for consideration.
PRIVACY POLICY
REALPAC is committed to maintaining high standards of confidentiality and protection of the Personal Information that has been provided to us. This Privacy Policy provides information on how we collect, use and disclose Personal Information through our interactions and your use of the website. Our collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information are governed by applicable privacy legislation. Personal Information means any personally identifiable information deemed as “Personal Information” under applicable privacy laws.

Our commitment
We are committed to ensuring equal access and participation for persons with disabilities. We are committed to treating persons with disabilities in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration, and we are committed to meeting the needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner. We will do so by removing and preventing barriers to accessibility and meeting our accessibility requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and Ontario’s accessibility laws.
We are also committed to meeting our current and ongoing obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code respecting non-discrimination.
Customer Service
We are committed to excellence in serving and providing goods and services or facilities to all, including persons with disabilities. Our accessible customer service policies are consistent with the principles of independence, dignity, integration and equality of opportunity for persons with disabilities.
- Communication
We will communicate with persons with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability. Our staff will receive training on how to interact with individuals with different types of disabilities.
- Telephone Services
We are committed to providing accessible telephone service to persons with disabilities. We will offer to communicate with members and customers by means of communication that apply (i.e., email, text) where reasonable, if telephone communication is not suitable to their communication needs or is not available.
- Assistive Devices
Persons with disabilities will be allowed to use their own personal assistive devices to access our goods, services, or premises, and will also have access to assistive devices that may be available at our premises, including elevators, accessible washrooms. Our staff will receive training on various assistive devices that persons with disabilities might use while accessing our goods, services and/or premises.
- Use of Service Animals or Support Persons
Persons with disabilities may at all times be accompanied by their required support person and/or a service animal on the parts of our premises that are open to the public and third parties. When we cannot easily identify that an animal is a service animal, our staff may ask for documentation from a regulated health professional that confirms the person needs the service animal for reasons relating to their disability.
- Notice of Temporary Disruption
We will provide notice in the event of a planned or unexpected disruption of services or access to our premises. The notice will include information about the reason for the disruption, the anticipated duration, and the description of alternative services or premises, if available. The notice will be placed at the entrance of our premises.
- Training for Staff
We are committed to providing training t0 our staff that interact with the public or third parties, and staff that are involved in the development and implementation process of customer service policies, practices and procedures. Training will be provided as soon as possible after hiring or engagement and on commencement of new or additional duties that require training.
Training will include the following:
- a review of the purpose of the AODA and the requirement of the Customer Service Standard developed thereunder;
- how to communicate and interact with persons with various disabilities;
- how to interact with persons with disabilities that use assistive devices or require the assistance of a service animal or a support person;
- how to use assistive devices at REALPAC;
- what to do if a person with a disability is having difficulty accessing our premises, goods or services;
- our policies, practices and procedures relating to the customer service standard.
Staff will be trained on an ongoing basis when changes are made to these policies, practices and procedures.
- Feedback Process
We welcome feedback on how we provide accessible customer service. Feedback will help us identify barriers and respond to concerns.

We are committed to meeting the communication needs of persons with disabilities.
