RPIC – Research in CRE (2026)

October 13 @ 1:00 pm - October 16 @ 4:00 pm

$1,195.00

Canada is in a new era of data availability. More information exists–much of it free–than ever before. The time required to find and analyze it is shrinking fast. Yet the flood of data brings its own risks: biases, gaps, misleading charts, and AI tools that confidently produce wrong answers. This four-day course teaches real estate professionals how to find the right data, interpret it accurately, and communicate it compellingly.

COURSE CONTENT:

  • Data sources and vendors, free and paid
  • Visualizing and data storytelling (great data can be meaningless without this skill)
  • Techniques for analyzing data, leaning heavily on Excel which remains a powerful tool.
  • How to scrutinize data sources for biases, limitations, and best and worst uses
  • How to avoid errors, incorrect conclusions, and misinformation in the age of AI
  • GIS and mapping for analysis and storytelling

Anyone in CRE who works with data: investments, property management, appraisal, development, brokerage, planning, and finance.
