REALPAC is pleased to invite you to submit your research paper for presentation at the 9th Annual REALPAC/Toronto Metropolitan University Commercial Real Estate Research Symposium.

The symposium is organized by REALPAC and the Real Estate Management Department at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University, and will bring together commercial real estate practitioners, academics and policy makers to share and discuss their research.

Call for Papers

We are pleased to invite you to submit your academic or professional practice research papers for presentation at the Research Symposium. We invite professional practice and academic papers that focus on:

  • Artificial intelligence and real estate technology
  • Hybrid work and office demand
  • Immigration, affordable housing, rental demand, homelessness, and security
  • Climate change, sustainability, decarbonization, and electrification
  • Data centres, power consumption, and infrastructure demand
  • Commercial real estate valuation, interest rates, inflation, cap rates, risk, and return
  • Tokenization, fractional ownership, capital flows, and new investment structures
  • Retail performance, online shopping, foot traffic, and leasing patterns
  • Construction costs, supply chains, and labour challenges
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion or Indigenous-focused research
  • Other relevant commercial real estate topics

Submission Guidelines

Please submit an abstract of a proposed presentation by September 25, 2026 to Dr. Anson Ho, Associate Professor, Toronto Metropolitan University
